Dining Table SM 117 by SkovbyWith a sleek, geometric form and natural wood grain, the Skovby 117 Dining Table is a modern classic. The tabletop is rectangular in shape, but with softer, rounded corners. A unique, wedge-shaped pedestal base - a stylish improvement from the typical pedestal dining table - keeps the extension leaf out of sight. Going from a table for 6 to 8 is easy with Skovbys patended extension system; simply pull the tabletop apart and apply light pressure to rise and unfold the leaf.Overall Dimensions: 75.6 W x 40.1 D x 29.1 H Product Weight: 205 lbs. Width Adjustability: 75.6 - 99.2Assembly InstructionsLacquered or oiled wood? Lacquered finishes require no maintenance. If you have kids, a full household, or just need a durable, easy finish - opt for lacquered. Opting for an oiled finish means you need to maintain the finish by oiling your table eery 3-6 months. The benefit of an oiled finish is that the wood grain looks more rich, and will be less affected over time by exposure to UV light. The SM 117 Dining Table is also available in several Oak and Black Oak finishes. These items are special order only and have extended lead times. For information on ordering one of these finishes, contact our sales team at (800) 260-8420!As a family owned company in Denmark, Skovby has a proud history spanning three generations. From a small workshop in 1933 to its position today as a worldwide supplier, Skovby has maintained the same standard of design plus functionality. From the drying of the raw timber and careful selection of veneers to the finished product, no compromise is made. The skills employed in the use of the natural timbers and the variations therein ensure the individuality of each finished piece.Lacquered Surfaces: For daily cleaning wipe down furniture with a damp, clean cloth, followed by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Repairs should only be carried out by a professional workshop. Oiled Surfaces: Oil treatment enhances the natural variations of each unique piece of wood, and just as different parts of an item will absorb the oil differently, others may also dry out in a different place. Always clean the surface before treating the wood with oil - preferably using a damp cloth, and allowing approximately two hours to fully dry. Apply the oil directly onto the surface in an even, thin layer, and rub gently with an uncolored cloth. After 2-3 minutes, wipe off the surplus oil. Repeat this treatment
