This unit is UL approved for outdoor use, with its three levels of weatherproofing design and construction. This ice maker brings a convenient freeze to the outdoors. Fully wrapped in 304 grade stainless steel, this unit is designed to stand up to nature with elegant style. The weatherproof design includes a completely sealed back that protects all electrical components and Summits integrated Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) adds an extra level of protectionand automatically reset the unit in the event of power failure. With a dial thermostat you can control the temperature easily. This ice maker can easily be built into an outdoor kitchen unit or freestanding above or below the counter. The unit is mounted on a lower base that raises the unit height to be adjustable between 32 and 32.5 high. At 32 in fits under ADA compliant counters.
