The Damasco PT Floor Lamp from Vistosi complements the understated setting with sharp lines while adding artisanal charm in the form of a traditionally handcrafted Murano glass shade. Designer Paolo Crepax lets his pieces tell of his passion for glass and its limitless forms. Crepax seeks to elevate the time-honored art of glassmaking, as shown here in this refined design. A circular base and slender column accent the room as graphic elements. The rounded cylindrical glass shade sits on top like a beacon. The shade calls one’s attention with a tiered, textured surface made by solidifying hand-wrapped molten glass threads in a technique called bozzolo.
