The Riflesso 1 LED Table Lamp from Vistosi creates an endearing feeling not only through its familiar shape but its magical, indirect light display. Chiaramonte & Marin create the piece with an observation approach to design, one interested in translating objects into industrial products. Here, the studio studies the reflective and refractive properties of the soapy bubble. The familiar bubble is brought to life by master glassblowers as a charming shade. This shade reveals no light source like traditional pieces, making its reflective curves the star of the show. The light comes streaming in from the graphic metal shapes that frame the glass with a high-style finish. The light filling up the glass eases out into an attractive ambiance. Shape: Oval.
