The feeling of awe washes over one in the cascade of hand-shaped and intricately arranged strands from the Giogali CA2 Flushmount by Vistosi. It’s a piece marked by a sense of character and lightness, 2 traits ever-present in creator Angelo Mangiarotti’s work. Mangiarotti approaches the piece with a deep appreciation for cutting-edge production processes and materials. Here, an elegant metal frame and canopy rest the design flush against the ceiling for a built-in look. Murano glass hooks descend in tiers for an encompassing shade. The fluid, curvy texture of the hooks catches the eyes in silhouette when light shines through. This light casts dramatically over the ceiling and enters the room with a warm, spacious feel.
