The Rina 16 Table Lamp from Vistosi puts emphasis on its sculptural properties for an alluring visual at any time of day. Designer Barbara Maggiolo presents a piece that shows her passion for glass and the atmosphere it provides. Using glass, Maggiolo captures her experience at the park of blowing a dandelion’s seeds into the air. Using the traditional Murrine glass-making technique, artisans create the shade by covering and fusing molten glass with hand-cut glass pieces. The shade’s seed-like details and pin-point base give it the illusion of floating over the table. Radiant light adds to this illusion by creating an elegant aura and artfully cast visuals.
