Designed in 1967, this piece reflects creator Angelo Mangiarotti’s fascination with cutting-edge processes and making the most of the materials at play. Artisans handshape molten Murano glass ribbons into sculptural hooks that serve as the design’s building block. The flowy hooks drape over a low-profile, geometric framework and repeat downward to create a spacious rectangular silhouette. The glass veil bursts with texture and reflective details.
