The Damasco Wall Sconce from Vistosi is a rich, textural design, made using the traditional bozzolo technique of hand-wrapping molten glass threads. Designer Paolo Crepax’s passion for glass and its many creative forms shows in the piece. Crepax puts focus on the work of the glass artist by keeping the metal hardware sleek and minimalist. The L-shaped hardware’s slim design gives it a place in the tightest nooks. Beautiful in contrast, a blown glass shade contains the light source in tight curves. The eyes scan across the shade as glass threads give the piece an elegant texture and fine highlights.
