The Pod LED Wall Sconce / Flushmount from Vistosi treats one’s ceiling or wall to a soothing gradient image, achieved through a meticulous glass-blowing process. Designer Emmanuel Babled brings a hands-off design approach that lets the glass artist showcase their great kill. Babled explores the idea of transparency through fused blown glass in an impossibly flat shape. Vistosi glass artists blow and flatten the molten material by combining a central opaque disc with a clear outer ring. This contrast in glass creates a diffused spot at the center of the piece that draws the eye. Light flows evenly out of the circular silhouette to heighten the room’s comfortable atmosphere.
