Handcrafted glass in a painterly silhouette. The Lio LED Wall / Flushmount from Vistosi presents a wondrous display of milky and reflective tones overhead or against one’s wall. Vistosi design studio’s aim for the piece was to offer versatility through an unobtrusive yet sculptural form. The studio’s aim for each design is to reveal the materials and the hand of the artisan. The piece is easy to appreciate from any viewing angle as it rests on the wall or ceiling with a low-profile backplate. Crafted in a process called “Fasciatura,” the handblown glass diffuser blends a wave of opaque material with a see-through reflective one. Light radiates through the contrasting surface as a spacious glow, leaving behind an artful image. Finish: White.
