The Balance Pendant from Vistosi flows rhythmically with contours inspired by the planet’s trajectory around the sun. This pendant’s familiar natural silhouette underlines the design duo’s Pio & Tito Toso approach of creating shapes that one won’t tire of. Even in stillness, the duo’s sculpted forms modify and enhance their surroundings. Using centuries-old techniques, Venetian masters mouth-blow the shade with curves at any viewing angle. As an opaque form, the duo calls attention to the unseen forces of a planet’s elliptical orbit with the interaction of glass and light. Light melts into the glass, further defining its soft features.
