Crafted using traditional Venetian glass-making techniques, the Assiba SP 2 Pendant from Vistosi is a seductive piece with a light and a wavy silhouette informed by Ocean’s mysterious life forms. Designer Mauro Olivieri’s process of refining helps him achieve memorable primary forms like the cylinders in this piece. The cylinders appear to float in the air thanks to the ultra-fine suspension. The gentle curve of each cylindrical glass shade creates an organic sense of motion that suggests an ocean-dwelling creature. The blown glass shades invite a closer as they reveal a traditional surface pattern that stands out with a touch of light.
