The transitional design of Robert Abbey’s Campbell Table Lamp is a study in cylinders. A longer stem travels upward from a solid, ring-patterned cylinder, heading up to a hinged juncture with a thinner branch. The branch itself has a drum shade that is designed to focus the lamping into focused task lighting, while a smaller cylindrical piece at the opposite end forms a clever counterweight, adding stability to the fixture.
