In 2015, Tapio Wirkkala would have been 100 years old. To celebrate that milestone, Iittala has released the Ultima Thule Carafe - Wirkkala Anniversary. This vessel has the distinctive look of melting ice. It was an original design concept by Wirkkala to evoke the melting ice of Lapland (his home), and one that is executed by pressing glass in special molds. Color: Clear.
