Decorative yet functional curves aim towards the sky in the architecturally inspired Coupole Outdoor Stacking Side Chair Set of 4 from Emu. The studio at Emu approaches this piece with an emphasis on practicality and comfort. Here, Italian studio emu draws inspiration from the Brunelleschi-designed dome atop Florence’s cathedral. The contrasting curves of the dome are reimagined as fine cutouts for air circulation and water-wicking. These cutouts dress up a steel backrest and seatrest. Contoured tubular steel connects all the elements as a lightweight, stacking framework. A powder-coated finish adds to the overall durability. Color: White.
