A contemporary spin on the ancient armillary sphere design, it rises along three matte-textured legs capped with sleek metal tips, using a pivoting central stem to seat three concentric rings, each functioning as housing for energy-friendly LED lamping and able to be repositioned at need. This structure can go from a layered vertical ring to a swooping, three-dimensional sphere in a moment, while translucent diffusers set into each ring blunt excess glare from the lamping with ease.
