The Dreamscape Wall Sconce from Currey & Company is a captivating scoop-shaped piece woven from natural abaca rope. The brainchild of designer Ian Thornton incorporates thin ribs of gold-leafed wrought iron, extending arcing accents around the abaca rope surface of the sconces shade. This artful composition gives the fixture a layered intricacy. At the same time, the natural abaca rope mellows direct light from the lamping, exchanging it for a mix of ambiance and reflected wall wash. The handmade fixture shows variations in color and size, with subtle variations between each instance of the sconce, creating unique installations with a subtle bohemian character. Color: Brown.
