It’s a piece taking a page out of the clean geometric character of Bauhaus and Modernist design. As the design movements showed the fusion of art with engineering and design with craft, so does this piece. A look at its traditionally crafted box shade from below reveals a swirling laser-cut diffuser that illustrates these fusions. Gloss globes shades resting inside present seductive curves that stand out from the rest of the sharp angular structure. The globes transform into wondrous, light-filled vessels as a warm glow filters through them and penetrates through the functional and ornamental laser-cuts of the diffuser. Color: Brass.
