The Grand Hotel Wall Sconce from Barovier & Toso makes its presence felt equally in the commercial or residential setting with an invigorating floral design crafted using a centuries-old glassmaking technique. In business for over seven centuries, Barover & Toso sees their role as custodians of Venetian glass craftsmanship. Here, Murano glass masters employ the “rugiada” technique that sees colorless grit added to the surface of hot glass. This texture-rich glass cools to serve as the sconce’s regal and floral ornamentation. The glass acts as a diffuser for the lamps behind it. While on, the piece produces a golden image of speckled highlights a wall-covering light. Color: Gold. Finish: Gold Rugiada.
