The Stance Vase from Audo Copenhagen, formerly known as Menu, uses a tall, easy-going figure to capture the gaze and move it upwards to any lovely decoration held within. Originating from dancer and designer Colin King’s work exploring the power of stillness, this fittingly named piece achieves a formal stance steadied by a low-profile geometric base. Its bronzed brass fixture acquires a unique patina with time, using a slender container to comfortably support long-stemmed flowers or branches set inside. The simple yet sophisticated design of the vase was inspired by practical display stands, becoming an elongated silhouette that draws a line directly to one’s décor without overpowering it.
