Detail
The Radiohus Sofa from Audo Copenhagen, formerly Menu, is a standout example of mid-century modern design, its button pattern providing playful appeal with precise comfort as it offers a generous seating surface. A lasting design from influential Danish architect Villhelm Lauritzen, it was originally designed for Denmark’s “Radio House” in 1935, and hasn’t missed a step since. An outstanding example of innovation and functional prowess, the piece represents Lauritzen’s forward-thinking process with a striking backrest that subtly cradles the sitter on the sides. A button-tufted back adds texture and visual interest, the generous fill material offering plush comfort complemented by rounded corners that contrast beautifully with the architectural angles of the wood base. Color: White. Additional Color: Hallingdal 0200.
