Inspired by the gravity-defying silhouettes of classic cantilevered chairs, the Ready Dining Chair from Audo Copenhagen, formerly known as Menu, suggests the feeling of floating with light, form-hugging curves. Matias Møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen bring a design approach centered on making timeless objects with distinct forms. The design duo translates the sweeping curves of the traditionally metal cantilevered chair into a streamlined wood construction. The tight wood framework is designed to stack and connect in rows to help clear floor space. Crafted using form-pressing techniques, the piece follows the body with a seamless shell that pleases in a series of cascading curves. Color: Black. Additional Color: Black Oak-Natural.
