The Rail Shelf from Audo Copenhagen, formerly known as Menu, is an efficient design, balancing one’s displaying needs with a rustic-modern aesthetic. It comprises oak veneer and MDF. Keiji Ashkizawa’s object and architectural design background rings clear in this piece. Ashkizawa uses a steel bracket to both mount the piece and give one’s objects a framing rectangular silhouette. This bracket shoots out at a dynamic angle to hold a low-profile wood shelf. The shelf’s natural texture and shifting hues lay a rich background for one’s items. Color: Grey.
