Trailblazer of Danish design, Mogens Lassen’s architectural background informs his functionalist design process, taking inspiration from the Kubus candleholder. The sideboard’s aluminum framework is complemented by wood veneer and sports rectilinear shapes that speak to a range of home styles and fits neatly alongside furniture. While efficient in its shape, the small circular pulls at the center delight like buttons on a shirt. The two drawers slide out smoothly, providing ample storage together with the open base below.
