A subtle mix of contemporary smoothness and Scandinavian simplicity, it’s designed by Skogstad & Wærnes for the Oslo Stock Exchange, one of Norway’s iconic constructions, a stately reinterpretation of the modern dining chair. Traditional woodworking joins smooth, slender legs of solid oak with a plywood back, upholstered with a soft, curving cushion that contrasts with the raw woodgrain of the seat and seat back.
