The Ixa LED Table Lamp from Artemide offers a retro, artistic appeal to its surroundings, precision engineered for delivering focused lamping. It is designed by Foster & Partners to echo the organic curves and smooth sculptural style of Alexander Calder’s mobile sculptures, and made in Italy. Starting with a smooth base that acts as a counterweight, it positions a curving, angular arm at its center, sweeping up and over to the efficient LED lamping set inside a large spherical head, all made from strong aluminum. A glass diffuser transforms direct glare into an enchanting ambiance, is easily touch dimmable, and is tailored to be able to respond to different lighting needs, creating something modern and dynamic with precise engineering.
