The intersection of science and art comes to a head in the 96 Molecules Floor Lamp from Aqua Creations, designed by Albi Serfaty, Ofir Zucker, and origami artist Ilan Garibi. Luscious digitally carved wood appears in a slender figure, underlined by a wavy circular base and a column interspersed by fine metal rings. A handmade shade with a riveting molecular inspiration sits perched at the top. Flat and pointed shapes are folded one by one, creating a multitude of geometrically-perfect crevices.
