A treat for the senses. The Slab 20 LED Mini Pendant from ANDlight creates a warm, inviting aura around you that also keeps away unwanted noise. Its an imaginative piece by Lukas Peet, a designer giving familiar objects new uses. The presence of ambient noise creeping in from other rooms moved Peet to find a sound dampening solution. Peet reimagines the body of the luminaire as a sound wave blocking piece. He achieves this effect with 100% natural industrial-grade Merino felt, a material that provides as much style as functionality. The soft material is cut along with an acrylic diffuser into a charming round shape. The acrylic fascinates as light glazes its surface while exiting as a warm, comfortable ambient glow. Shape: Disc.
