The movement and glow of the sun have inspired many of the world’s most prized designs, as is the case with the elegant and contemporary Orbit LED Pendant from ANDlight. Designer Lukas Peet, inspired by iconic globe-shaped fixtures, iterates on them by giving an elegant Etched Glass globe a clean design of steel wire, bent in pleasing curves to visualize the “orbital trajectories around the sun.” Diffused LED lighting deftly portrays the sun, while wonderfully silhouetting its construction.
