Stately, simple, and sculptural, the Bellamy Chandelier from Alder & Ore adds a playful and open presence to high ceilings. A circular canopy keeps it in place, dispatching a slender downrod to a set of staggered crossbars, each supported in turn by a slender connecting rod. Illumination is provided by an array of open lamping that emerges from the ends of various crossbars, held inside a clean-surfaced socket that contrasts with the darker texture of the main structure, creating a light and memorable form.
